Parking in Old Town

On-street parking is available at meters and in free spaces within posted time limits. Meter hours vary, so please check the meter for requirements. Free on-street parking, indicated by green-on-white signs in many blocks, is generally limited to two hours, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. Sunday until 2 a.m. Monday. Parking limits are strictly enforced so we urge you to be mindful of all local laws. Several public parking lots within comfortable walking distance are available, including one on North Alfred, between King and Queen Street, and one at the corner of Queen and N. St. Asaph. Both parking lots are owned and managed by the City of Alexandria, and are very reasonably priced.
